Georgia DDS allows one free name or address change during the term of your original driver's license. Subsequent changes cost $10. DDS verifies your name with SSA first. You can update online if you have a Georgia License/ID, or visit a DDS Customer Service Center.

Bring these documents:

• Certified marriage certificate (original, raised seal)
